    Annual Hawaiian Luau

Each year we have our annual luau and everyone has so much fun. We have a buffet on each floor with lots of scrumptious Hawaiian food, a lei ceremony, and then finally the Hawaiian Dance company performance. The dancers come from the island of Alameda and are from the Mastick Senior Center.

    Annual First Responder’s Breakfast

Station 15 enjoyed a breakfast cooked by Chef JoJo. Seeing our firefighters casually instead of at an emergency always makes us feel grateful that they are indeed part of our community. Residents love greeting and spending time with our firefighters. They truly are appreciative that we think of them in this way each year!!

By Graham Henry, Resident Train Expert, April 9th, 2014 As far as I can find out, the 4014 is still in Colton, California. It will take several days to go to Cheyenne, as the towing speed appears to be about 20 miles per hour. The first safety rule I learned when I went to work […]

Storytelling groups are the most fun, because we get to experience what other people see when they look at a photo. We ask open-ended questions: “What are they doing? What are their names? Where are they […]

Yelp Review – Loved Ones are Treated with Respect and Dignity

I am finally writing a (long over due) review of this exceptional facility. My mother has recently passed away after a long stay at Lakeside. I cannot more strongly recommend this facility.
