Today we took our residents down to enjoy a BBQ at our wonderful Lake Merritt! Everyone got to enjoy some delicious hot dogs and hamburgers on this beautiful, sunny day. Thank you to our Lakeside Park associates, family, and friends who helped make today a great success!

We were able to squeeze in one more extraordinary outing this month. With over 20 residents, our largest number on an outing, we spent the afternoon at the lake. Active Aging Week – Extraordinary Outing to Oakland’s Historic Fairyland

While celebrating active aging week we decided to have an extraordinary outing. We went to fairyland for the day and 17 residents and some families joined us, along with staff of course. The residents watching the toddlers at the park was priceless. We had our lunch there and enjoyed fantastic weather.

Valentine’s Day Couples Dinner

The tradition at Lakeside Park is to create a special Valentine's for our residents. Our couples dinner was extra special and everyone raved over the wonderful dinner and dessert that was created by JoJo Ferrer, Dining Director and Chef. Music filled the air along with conversation and laughter.
