August marks a special occasion here at Lakeside Park, as we celebrate the warm summer month with our annual Luau Buffet! JoJo and his team prepared a delicious buffet on both floors so that residents, families, and associates could enjoy lunch while listening to our favorite Hawaiian music.
For the past three years, we have hosted the Wahine U’i Hula dancers from the island of Alameda to entertain our Luau partygoers. The Wahine U’i ladies are members of the Mastick Senior Center, and we are always honored and delighted to welcome them to our community. All of them are a great source of inspiration, especially their oldest dancer who is remarkably 94 years young!
Thank you to everyone involved that made our highly anticipated Luau such a great success!
